五代：李煜
辘轳金井梧桐晚，几树惊秋。昼雨新愁，百尺虾须在玉钩。
译文：深秋时节，梧桐树下，辘轳金井旁，落叶满地。树木入秋而变，人见秋色而愁。手扶百尺垂帘，眼望窗外细雨，旧愁之上又添新愁。
注释：辘轳：一种安在井上绞起汲水斗的器具，亦即汲取井水用的滑车。金井：井栏上有雕饰的井，这里指宫廷园林中的井。梧桐：古代诗人常用梧桐金井说明时已至晚秋。几树：多少的树。树，这里指梧桐树。惊秋：《词林万选》中作“经秋”。昼雨：指白天下的雨。昼，白天。新愁：指悲秋之愁。百尺：这里为约指，极言其长。虾须：因帘子的表状像虾的触须，所以用“虾须”作为帘子的别称。玉钩：玉制的钩子。
琼窗春断双蛾(é)皱，回首边头。欲寄鳞游，九曲寒波不泝流。
译文：闺中的思妇独守着琼窗，想到韶华渐逝，心愿难成，怎不双眉紧皱，愁在心头。回首边地，征人久无音讯。想要寄书信，可是黄河寒波滔滔，溯流难上，思妇只能在孤独寂寞中苦苦守望。
注释：琼窗：雕饰精美而华丽的窗。春断：《词林万选》中作“梦断”。春断，这里指情意断绝，即男女相爱之情断绝。春，指男女相爱之情。双蛾：即指美女的两眉。蛾，蛾眉，指妇女长而美的眉。皱：起皱纹，指皱眉。回首：回望。边头：指偏僻而遥远的地方。欲：想要。寄：寄托。鳞游：游鱼，这里借指书信。九曲：萧本二主词中“曲”作“月”。九曲，形容黄河河道的迂回曲折，这里代指黄河。九，泛指多数。泝流：倒流。泝，同“溯”，逆流而上。

李煜，五代十国时南唐国君，961年-975年在位，字重光，初名从嘉，号钟隐、莲峰居士。汉族，彭城（今江苏徐州）人。南唐元宗李璟第六子，于宋建隆二年(961年)继位，史称李后主。开宝八年，宋军破南唐都城，李煜降宋，被俘至汴京，封为右千牛卫上将军、违命侯。后因作感怀故国的名词《虞美人》而被宋太宗毒死。李煜虽不通政治，但其艺术才华却非凡。精书法，善绘画，通音律，诗和文均有一定造诣，尤以词的成就最高。千古杰作《虞美人》、《浪淘沙》、《乌夜啼》等词。在政治上失败的李煜，却在词坛上留下了不朽的篇章，被称为“千古词帝”。
