吴松江水急如箭，昔见画图今识面。百川应命争先趋，东注海门如赴战。
海波怒发驱潮头，战退吴松水倒流。江潮一日两相斗，万古不决犹寇雠。
江水清兮潮水浊，江水不似潮水恶。恶潮推出海中洲，堆积江面成山丘。
官忧水害难疏凿，横江四闸同时作。潮来下闸潮平开，闸内不通潮往回。
潮波怒息捲底去，闸门又见江波怒。闸上盘涡万阵分，闸下狂澜万骑奔。
万雷吼兮万鼓发，石走沙飞乱戈甲。黄河冲破华山根，健瀑擘开青玉峡。
人言水性险且凶，不知水与人情同。情涛识浪怒且愤，不在江潮在方寸。
水险尚可避，人险终难知。人争额额罔昼夜，水争尚有潮平时。
