尝欣食菜美，自谓肉不过。

羊蹄酿旨蓄，蒲歜杂细剉。
芋魁掘地底，茭首洗泥科。
木鱼三百头，竹笋一万个。
朝湘出山厨，夕煮吹烟锉。
堆盘青黄具，入口生涩奈。
以兹媚盘飡，颇复如君作。

霜根咀寒齑，三叹论奇货。

元明间常州府江阴人，名作，以字行，一字次知。为文醇正典雅，动有依据。尝著书十二篇，号为《东家子》。元末避兵吴中，尽弃他物，独载书两簏。张士诚廪禄之，旋以母病谢去。明洪武六年聘修《大明日历》，授编修，乞改太平府教授。召为国子助教，累擢司业，归卒于家。有《沧螺集》。
