我闻自昔盘古既开乾坤异，爰以轻清为天重浊为地。
惟有磊磊落落之石质重而韵清，在乎山水之间各安置。
奈何天无石，肆有触之崩而柱折。有女娲取而炼以补之，所馀者青玄赤白皆分别。
迨夫百千万年，有祖龙骑之向东，而端州之石亶称奇绝。
此石当时既补天，至今天色尚依然。云胡得此以为砚，我想女娲岂难煮而燥之，乃听其益笔发墨呵气则泉。
吁嗟乎，女娲何不悟补天之微理，惜也此彼不知此。
粤自苍颉作书混沌凿，伏义八卦聊为尔。而乃上典谟，下风史。
民伪兹，圣人死。东家老儒炼六经以补之，而大儒曰仁，小儒曰理。
岂若太古三民，不相往来而已。祖龙焚书亦似矣，而何复有管城子。
管城子，舍此石而不可得。又千百年，而山之混沌是与人而俱蚀。
八分变体点画便，遂使君子小人交相美其文墨。
尔来文妖墨祟皆绝奇。家家书，人人诗。宝此一片石，而矻矻然仰天而思。
镂心刻骨，以裂此浑浑之元气。吁嗟乎，我欲补之，而几夜可补也。
我欲毁此石以补之，夫谁解其意者。我闻石之精，与三皇五帝在天之灵而俱愁。
夫何寸裂我石，而圣人之糟粕，尽以供伪儒之摹写。
岂不闻当尧之时水逆行，泛滥于天下使禹治之。
巨灵一擘，水皆东泻。夫石可擘，则亦可取而为砚。
禹若曰，余知其然。肆任土作贡，惟有怪石浮磬，与筱簜竹箭。
无毛颖管，无砚田片。何意于今数千年，山灵剥面谁为怜。
我今一片大于拳，取而怀之袖中。是亦伪儒之流也。
安得圣人尽驱此衣冠之盗，置之标枝野鹿之田。
使之思悠悠，腹便便。礼仪三百，威仪三千，还之未始有始之前。
谁为福始，谁为祸先。无表无得，日出而作，日入而眠。
我亦投此石于众人，众人不受，投彼女娲，女祸亦不必以供其补天。
夫何使我与文妖墨祟争此一片石，不耕获不菑畬，惟蠡测夫脉望之残编。

（?—1646）广东番禺人，字美周。天启七年举人。再应会试不第。善诗、古文，工画山水。崇祯中，陈子壮荐遂球为经济名儒，以母老不赴。明亡，方应陈子壮荐，为南明隆武朝，兵部职方司主事，提督广东兵援赣州，城破殉难。谥忠悯。有《莲须阁诗文集》。
