羊，尝遗示梅词。公依韵和之。初公被召命而西过分水岭，有诗云：“呜咽泉流万仞峰，断肠从此各西东。谁知不作多时别，依旧相逢沧海中。”及公遭谤归莆，赵丞相鼎先已谪居潮阳，谗者傅会其说，谓公此诗指赵而言，将不久复偕还中都也。秦益公愈怒，至以岭南荒恶之地处之，此词盖以自况也。

黄公度（1109～1156）字师宪，号知稼翁，莆田（今属福建）人。绍兴八年进士第一，签书平海军节度判官。后被秦桧诬陷，罢归。除秘书省正字，罢为主管台州崇道观。十九年，差通判肇庆府，摄知南恩州。桧死复起，仕至尚书考功员外郎兼金部员外郎，卒年四十八，著有《知稼翁集》十一卷，《知稼翁词》一卷。
