名或作巽志。明徐州府萧县人，寓居浙江嘉兴，字士敏。文章典雅。洪武初，征修《元史》，授翰林编修，累迁试吏部侍郎。建文初，任太常少卿，与董伦同主庚辰会试，得士王艮、胡靖等，皆为名臣。燕王朱棣兵入南京，遁迹雁荡山中，病卒。有《啬庵集》。
