朱祐樘（1470年7月30日―1505年6月8日），即明孝宗（1487年－1505年在位），年号弘治，明朝第九位皇帝，明宪宗朱见深第三子，生母为孝穆纪太后。 成化二十三年（1487年）九月即位，朱祐樘为人宽厚仁慈，躬行节俭，不近声色，勤于政事，重视司法，大开言路，努力扭转朝政腐败状况，驱逐奸佞，勤于政事，励精图治，任用王恕、刘大夏等为人正直的大臣，史称“弘治中兴”。虽末年宠信宦官李广，但是立刻改过自新。弘治十八年（1505年），朱祐樘驾崩于乾清宫，在位18年，享年36岁，葬泰陵，庙号孝宗，谥号“建天明道诚纯中正圣文神武至仁大德敬皇帝”。
