归子慕（1563～1606）字季思，号陶庵，学者称清远先生，南直隶苏州府昆山（今属江苏）人。生于明世宗嘉靖四十二年，卒于明神宗万历三十四年，年四十四岁。散文大家归有光第五子。归有光有六子，子慕为归有光五十八岁时所生，幼有文行，清真静好，万历十九年（1591）举人。再试礼部不第，屏居江村，与无锡高攀龙、嘉善吴志远最友善。所居陶庵，槿墙茅屋，诗歌以为乐。卒后，巡按御史祁彪佳请于朝，赠翰林待诏 [2] 。子慕著有《陶园集》四卷，《明史艺文志》传于世。
