柴望（1212—1280）字仲山，号秋堂，江山人。南宋嘉熙四年(1240)为太学上舍，供职中书省。淳祐六年(1246)上自编《丙丁龟鉴》，列举自战国秦昭王五十二年即丙午年(前255)至五代后晋天福十二年即丁未年(947)间，凡属丙午、丁未年份，约有半数发生战乱，意在说明“今来古往，治日少而乱日多”，切望当局居安思危。南宋亡国后，拒绝元朝征召，吟诗填词寄托亡国哀思。世称“柴氏四隐”。著作有《道州苔衣集》、《咏史诗》20首及词集《凉州鼓吹》。墓在今江山市长台镇高斋山下，列为江山市级重点文物保护单位。
