译文
浓密的柳荫把河桥遮藏，黄莺在清静的古台旧苑中鸣啭，我曾多少次骑着骏马到此处与你共度春光。还记得那次夜泊桥边，很快便进入了温柔之乡。我的词才显得笨拙，只顾与你共饮清觞，共剪灯花，那一宵过得太快太匆忙。还记得与你嬉游之处，青草铺就的小路上留下你轻盈的脚步，两舟相并，我与你荡漾于城南横塘。
十年如梦，梦醒后倍觉凄凉，恰似那西湖上燕子飞去，人去楼空燕巢已荒。今日我重到葑门，百感交集，像从前一样唤酒品尝。急雨
拍打着溪面，岸上的落花轻狂。又见到几只乌鸦掠过雾雨苍茫。而今又来到故人的楼上，还有谁能与我凭栏远眺，指点芳草斜阳？
注释
鹤江：松江之别派。葑（fēnɡ）门：唐苏州吴县城东门。
柳暝河桥：日暮时停舟于杨柳掩映的河桥之下。暝，日落黄昏之时。河桥，苏州河上的小桥。
莺晴台苑：晴日登上莺声婉转的苏州台苑。台苑，指苏州姑苏台的苑圃。
策：马鞭。
蜡花：蜡烛的火花。
壶箭：古代的计时仪器。铜壶装水滴漏，壶中有箭标识时辰。
凌波翠陌：与美人在岸上遨游。凌波，女子步履轻盈貌。翠陌，长着青草的道路。
连棹横塘：与美人在水上遨游。棹，船桨，指船。横塘，一个连一个的池塘。
似西湖燕去，吴馆巢荒：形容人去楼空如燕去巢荒。西湖吴馆，作者经常住宿的地方。此处指佳人离去。
银罂（yīnɡ）：银制的酒器。
夜合花·自鹤江入京泊葑门外有感创作背景
作者自鹤江（白鹤溪）坐船去南宋都城临安，途径苏州东城的葑门，并在此停泊。葑门外的溪流附近，是作者和他的苏州去妾曾经居住，同游之地，或许还是他们的定情之处，所以重经故地，唤起无限旧情，怀念之情无法自抑之中写下了这首怀人词。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
