被你抛弃而被迫出走，犹如那孤苦的白兔，往东去却又往西顾。
旧的衣服不如新的好，人还是旧人更胜新人。
注释
茕茕（qióng qióng）：孤独无依的样子。
古艳歌鉴赏
这篇最初见于《太平御览》卷六百八十九，题为《古艳歌》，无作者名氏。明、清人选本往往作窦玄妻《古怨歌》。《艺文类聚》卷三十记窦玄妻事云：“后汉窦玄形貌绝异，天子以公主妻之。旧妻与玄书别曰：‘弃妻斥女敬白窦生：卑贱鄙陋，不如贵人。妾日已远，彼日已亲。何所告诉，仰呼苍天。悲哉窦生！衣不厌新，人不厌故。悲不可忍，怨不自去。彼独何人，而居是处。’”并不曾提到窦玄妻作这首歌。今仍从《太平御览》。这首诗是弃妇诗，上二句比喻自己被出而终恋故人，下二句是说服故人也应该念旧。
乐府《古艳歌》：“茕茕（孤独，无依靠）白兔，东走西顾。衣不如新，人不如故。”这首诗的前两句即以动物起兴，兴中兼含比喻。写弃妇被迫出走，犹如孤苦的白兔，往东去却又往西顾，虽走而仍恋故人。后两句是规劝故人应当念旧。
