（998—1057）许州阳翟人，字之翰。仁宗天圣八年进士。以杜衍荐，授秘阁校理。献《三圣政范》，以为讽谏。改右正言。屡上言指摘仁宗宫廷生活侈靡，对杜衍及知交尹洙之过失亦直言不讳，并反对宋夏议和，以鲠亮不私著称。后出知邓、安、陕、晋州，历任江东、两浙转运使、三司度支副使、河北都转运使。留为侍读，卒。有《唐史记》。
