一年复一年，务在且迁延。皮皱缘肉减，发白髓枯乾。
毛孔通风过，骨消椽梠宽。水微不耐热，火少不耐寒。
幻身如聚沫，四大亦非坚。更被痴狼使，无明晓夜煎。
惟知念水草，心神被物缠。云何不忏悔，便道舍财钱。
外头遮曲语，望得免前愆。地狱应无事，准拟得生天。
世间有这属，冥道不如然。除非不作业，当拔罪根源。
根空尘不实，内外绝因缘。积罪如山岳，慧火一时燃。

庞蕴（生卒不详） 字道玄，又称庞居士，唐衡阳郡（今湖南省衡阳市）人。禅门居士，被誉称为达摩东来开立禅宗之后“白衣居士第一人”，素有“东土维摩”之称。有关他的公案时见于禅家开示拈提中，以作为行者悟道的重要参考。其传世的偈颂（迄今流传近200首）以模拟佛经偈语的风格，殷殷嘱咐学佛者修行的依归，在唐朝白话诗派中以其重于说理为一特点。至于他和女儿灵照游戏自在的情节，配合其诗偈中全家习禅的描述，不仅成为后代佛门居士向往的模范，也转而成为戏曲宝卷文学着墨的题材。
