刘祎之（ 631—687），字希美，常州晋陵（今江苏常州）人。唐初学者。少以文藻知名。上元中，迁左史、弘文馆直学士，参决政事。又与人同撰《列女传》、《乐书》等共千余卷。曾一度坐事放逐。则天临朝，倍受信任，官至凤阁侍郎、同凤阁鸾台三品。后以私议太后返政，并受人诬告，被赐死。
