唐廪（875－936），今江西上栗县长平乡人。唐乾宁元年（894）进士，入翰林院，官至秘书正字，掌管国史、著作两局。《唐书·艺文志》载有其名。《萍乡县志》载其：“淹通有学识，集贞观以前文章，凡三十卷，名曰贞观新书”。当时人称“新书声价满皇都”。唐廪与同时代的著名诗僧齐已，情感甚笃，诗文酬和。齐已《寄唐廪正字》诗曰：“新书声价满皇都，高卧林中更起无。春兴酒香薰肺腑，夜吟云气湿髭须。同登水阁僧皆列，共上鱼船鹤亦孤。长亿前来送行处，洞门残日照菖蒲。”诗中称赞的“新书”，指唐廪所作的《贞观新书》，可见当时即已声价鹊起，誉满京城。
