李因笃，字子德，一字孔德，号天生，陕西富平东乡（今富平薛镇韩家村）人。生于明崇祯五年（1632年），卒于清康熙三十一年（1692年）。自幼聪敏，博学强记，遍读经史诸子，尤谙经学要旨，精于音韵，长于诗词，诗逼杜甫，兼通音律，崇尚实学，为明清之际的思想家、教育家、音韵学家、诗人。被时人称为不涉仕途的华夏“四布衣”之一。康熙十八年（1679年）荐鸿博授检讨。尝辨秦中碑版极有依据。行、楷书用笔秃率，意近颜真卿。著《古今韵考》《受祺堂诗文集》《瓯钵罗室书画过目考》《增校清朝进士题名碑录》。
