异色禀陶甄，常疑主者偏。众芳殊不类，一笑独奢妍。
颗折羞含懒，丛虚隐陷圆。亚心堆胜被，美色艳于莲。
品格如寒食，精光似少年。种堪收子子，价合易贤贤。
迥秀应无妒，奇香称有仙。深阴宜映幕，富贵助开筵。
蜀水争能染，巫山未可怜。数难忘次第，立困恋傍边。
逐日愁风雨，和星祝夜天。且从留尽赏，离此便归田。
万朵照初筵，狂游忆少年。晓光如曲水，颜色似西川。
白向庚辛受，朱从造化研。众开成伴侣，相笑极神仙。
见焰宁劳火，闻香不带烟。自高轻月桂，非偶贱池莲。
影接雕盘动，丛遭恶草偏。招欢忧事阻，就卧觉情牵。
四面宜绨锦，当头称管弦。泊来莺定忆，粉扰蝶何颠。
苏息承朝露，滋荣仰霁天。压栏多尽好，敌国贵宜然。
未落须迷醉，因兹任病缠。人谁知极物，空负感麟篇。
去年零落暮春时，泪湿红笺怨别离。常恐便随巫峡散，
何因重有武陵期。传情每向馨香得，不语还应彼此知。
欲就栏边安枕席，夜深闲共说相思。
牡丹愁为牡丹饥，自惜多情欲瘦羸。浓艳冷香初盖后，
好风乾雨正开时。吟蜂遍坐无闲蕊，醉客曾偷有折枝。
京国别来谁占玩，此花光景属吾诗。

薛能(817？-880？）晚唐著名诗人。《郡斋读书志》、《唐诗纪事》、《唐诗品汇》、《唐才子传》均载：“能，字太拙，汾州人(今山西汾阳一带)。”仕宦显达，官至工部尚书。时人称其“诗古赋纵横，令人畏后生”。唐人交游之风盛行。薛能一生仕宦他乡，游历众多地方，诗多寄送赠答、游历登临之作。晚唐一些著名诗人多与有诗与其唱和。
