罗锦堂，字云霖。中国台湾第一位文学博士。罗锦堂先生一生旅居，结识了诸多好友，并写下了很多力作，他把这些作品合写成《行吟集》。其中既有思念故乡的作品，也有展现志向的作品，还不乏展现异域生活的作品。无论哪种作品，都能体现罗锦堂特有的作品风格。罗锦堂晚年仍不忘弘扬国学，曾去世界多个国家的大学进行讲学，为国学事业做出了很大的贡献。罗教授对中国古典文学深有研究，是元曲专家，著作有《中国散曲史》、《锦堂论曲》、《罗锦堂词曲选集》等十余种。
