生死即涅槃，涅槃即生死。全迷即全悟，全死即全生。
魔佛齐平，孰为非道。又须知生死非涅槃，涅槃非生死。
无生死而不显涅槃，无涅槃而不度生死。法法显然，尘尘自离。
到者里，更须有转身一路。若也转得，枯木枝头，别迎春色。
踢倒铁围山，踏翻生死海。从教月色和云白，管取春来草又青。

释守卓（一○六五～一一二四），俗姓庄，泉南（今福建泉州）人。弱冠游京师，肄业天清寺，试大经得度。游学至三衢，见南禅清雅禅师。舍去，抵姑苏定慧寺，从遵式禅师，通《华严》。时灵源清禅师住龙舒太平寺，道鸣四方，遂前往依从。清禅师迁住黄龙寺，守卓随侍十载。既而又至太平寺，佛鉴勤禅师请居第一座。后主舒州甘露寺，又迁庐州能仁资福寺，终住东京天宁万寿寺。称长灵守卓禅师，为南岳下十四世，黄龙清禅师法嗣。徽宗宣和五年十二月二十七日卒，年五十九。有《长灵守卓禅师语录》。
