有言蜀道难，有说蜀道易。难于上青天，易于践平地。
说易有所媚，说难有所激。君曾不见与前修，折衷谁秉江山笔。
我来高蹈仙人踪，控御遗风纵游历。连云气象霸图中，险阻形胜限疆域。
黑龙冲断万层山，骇浪轰雷恣奔击。攒峰叠嶂冷云閒，绵亘倚天骈翠壁。
飞梁架云栈，势欲跨南北。虹桥络河汉，鸟道挂空碧。
历其天险，临其峻极。望舒按节，阳乌敛翼。
拟循云路趋鹏程，仰天直上青云梯。蹑空且何异登仙，但觉日月行寝低。
终踰绝险得驰骤，骤步娲皇补天石。微茫一径通烟霄，攀缘更上苍龙脊。
弥旬霖雨秋，行潦迷原隰。岂不虑蹉跌，路歧多垫溺。
一闻漫天名，心寒已如失。况复壅大道，与道为通塞。
无虑千筹将万计，智推力引方行得。请设漫天前后论，蜀道一言或可毕。
未应难于上青天，飞阁递连通利走，名趋日夜往来何络绎。
不应易于践平地，栈磴缺寻引天荒，地老萧条断绝人声迹。
致令振古豺狼心，曾不祈天睹一掷。自蚕丛且稽代谢，几人恃险曾终吉。
适足笑王公，设险以守国。在德不在险，昭然如白日。
上青天，践平地，始可与之言其道难与易。行路之难，难于上青天，蜀道之难，若比行路是平地。
出处虽然全在人，世路不能无险易。畏途岂可比青天，誓铲漫天作平地。

耶律铸（1221—1285年），字成仲， 元初大臣。耶律楚材子，其母为汉人苏氏。1244年耶律楚材死后，他任中书省事，上疏历代德政合于时宜者八十一章。1258年，随蒙哥伐蜀。次年蒙哥死于军中，他护送蒙哥灵柩到和林，时遇汗位争夺战，选择站在忽必烈一边。1261年（世祖中统二年）为中书省左丞相。1264年（世祖至元元年）奏定法令三十七章。后去山东任职，应诏监修国史，并多次出任中书左丞相。1283年（世祖至元二十年）因罪免职。著有《双溪醉隐集》。
