澎湖一岛若可弃，乃与台厦相控援。屹立沧溟大海中，褊小疆隅难比县。
不产禾苗产杂粱，习惯波涛业渔佃。去秋台飓风为灾，咸雨飞飞浪花溅。
今春渤澥我开帆，海波阵阵心旌战。及抵澎山日已迟，人无人色面非面。
那得薯丝煮为縻，但捞海菜日充咽。苟非义仓钱三千，民命不绝已如线。
凤山徐令目见之，分查户口同二掾。酌济灾黎办八分，薯米金钱亦云遍。
圣恩如海自汪洋，大府关心尤眷恋。蔡子澎湖特起才，献我新诗颇婉嬿。
心伤梓里少多藏，社仓欲救饥馑荐。书生识见未云周，我读其诗心窃善。
绸缪未雨小民知，康济同心吾辈见。社与义仓理则同，力苦澎民孱且倦。
台阳乃是产米区，盍酌盈虚权通变。以补不足赖有馀，集众人力工易奠。
拨数千石资澎湖，有备无患民欣忭。社仓义仓分或兼，官捐民捐从所便。
常平额设有成规，兵米无多曾借碾。但令海岛富仓储，宿饱家家米价贱。
旱潦倘或遇偏灾，岂作仓皇幕巢燕。我公台海颂神君，定有吁谟计安晏。
同舟共济合献知，越俎代谋自嫌擅。作歌聊以当书笺，博得开缄一笑冁。
来朝闻说好开船，怕见风涛笔先颤。
