烘堂大笑的成语故事

基本解释唐代御史有台院、殿院、察院之分，由台院一名年资最高者主杂事，谓之“杂端”；凡公堂会食，都不谈笑，如杂端先笑，则三院之人随之大笑，谓之“烘堂”。见唐赵璘《因话录·征》。后因以“烘堂大笑”形容满屋的人同时大笑。

烘堂大笑的典故

五代时期，冯道与和凝同在中书办理事物。和凝见冯道穿新衣与新鞋，就问冯道的新鞋多少钱，冯道举左脚说才900文。和凝马上就训斥下人，说他买鞋贪污他900文，冯道马上举右脚说这也是900文，于是大家哄堂大笑起来。
