礼贤下士的典故

唐朝时期，李勉从地方官升到宰相，他从不妄自尊大，待人非常诚恳，有礼貌。他发现县尉为人正直很能干就提拔他为南郑县令。他发现立巡、张参很有才干，就请他们出来做官，不久他们去世，李勉特别怀念他们，人们称他为礼贤下士的典范。
