公元前544年，吴公子季札来到鲁国，表示愿与鲁国结盟世代友好下去，鲁国用舞乐招待他。季札精通舞乐，一边观赏，一边品评，当演出《韶箭》舞时，季札便断定是最后一个节目，说就看到这里吧。鲁国人非常吃惊他能预知最后的节目。
