战国时期，赵孝成王很不争气，喜欢独断专行，经常贪小利而受大害。燕国与赵国发生冲突，燕国任命高阳军为统帅率10万大军攻赵，赵孝成王认为赵国无大将，就以50座城池为代价请齐国的田单为大将。马服君气愤地对平原君说赵王是小题大做。
